I was listening to the latest modcast from Luxology the otherday about the forthcoming Modo 401 release and one of the thingsthat was discussed was how Modo 401 utilises the cores on a CPU forthe preview mode (which is what you get in PhotoView360). If Iunderstood correctly there is a way to allocate individual cores tothe preview and turn some on or off, so you could have, say, 4cores on an 8 core machine dedicated to Preview, and 2 more toother functions.
Is this coming to PhotoView?
One of the "problems" with PV360 (and indeed Hypershot) is thatwhen it is on it sends the core use to 100%. This is OK when youare rendering but if you are doing other tasks (such as runningSolidworks at the same time) this can create a bottleneck.
Thinking further down the line if/when Photoview is integrated intothe main solidworks window this will become even more important.
