Sorry for the simple fundamental Loft questions. 1) Why won't this Loft build? But if you move one of the circles off the same plane, it builds. See 2nd picture.

Last silly question. 2) What are the green circles connected by the line signifying? You can drag them around.

As noted, you can go from the guide curve to center line and it will build.
