Hi Guys/Gals, I'm trying to apply a formed imppression onto a piece of sheet metal that is at an angle. I guess my question is that is the forming tool applied when the stock is flat or when it is bent into the proper shape? If applied to the flat stock how can you make the deature appear when the bends are collected? I've tried 5 different types of newly sreated forming tools and for one reason or another it fails, but when I apply a predefined one to test it works just fine. I'm stumped. Any help would be grateful. Thanks.
