Can someone help understand why my floor shadow is not displaying properly?

I'm trying to create a basic soft floor shadow below the product on a white background.

Here is a screenshot of the workplace. I'm trying to follow exactly what they show in the tutorial video where you edit the environment settings and enable floor shadow.

What am I doing wrong? (I'm a beginner so please excuse if this is a stupid question).
