Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forums. I have been working with Solidworks for last 1.5 years and did not see this before but I noticed this for the first time. I am using Solidworks 2014 SP2 for this.
I have a component with multiple hex holes similar to the image below. I first selected all the edges of the first hole ( the left one) and then selected all the edges of the second hole (the right one). Now I put some chamfer value and chamfer angle as 30 deg.( Not sure if you can see those values in the image below). Now I want to flip the angle, so I tick the Flip angle option in the properties. But the angle gets flipped for only the second hole. The same happens if I flip that purple arrow instead. Only the angle of the second hole flips.
My component has six such holes. There the flip works for the last hole I selected and not for the other 5 holes. As it is still in development no. of holes may vary. I do not want to create individual features for each holes as one day it might have 3 holes and the next day they go back to 6 holes. They are testing out the 3d printed models and yet to finalize the design. Until then deleting and putting new features will be time consuming.
If anyone can help me out here then it would be great. Is this an issue with Solidworks or am I selecting it wrong. I tried to find in the forums and other places in the net but did not find anything similar. Let me know if you need any more details.
