I need an approximate way of flattening a surface in SolidWorks 2009. The surface has a constant thickness, but thedeformation is non-gaussian and therefore it cannot be transformedinto a simple sheet metal (i.e. it is bent and deformed in morethan one direction at the time).

Is there a "quick and dirty" way of doing this in Solid Works? Idon't need very high accuracy for this part.SolidworksSurfacing
