I think I'm having a problem with a sheet metal part when I flatten it. It doesn't look like it is flattening the way it should based off of the un-flattened model.
In attachment 1, you can see that I have a base flange with a double edge flange coming off. When they're flattened, it looks like there should be a gap between the two edge flanges where the base flange is flattened (like in attachment 2). However, when I flatten the part, no gap appears between the edge flanges (attachment 3). When I import the flat view into a new drawing for the part, the drawing does not have the gap I am looking for in attachment 2.
Is this just a weird rendering issue or is there a specific combination of settings in the flange features I have to use to see the gap?
