I am looking for an option in SolidWorks to flatten a model of an eyeglass frame for production. In Creo parametrics there is an option like flatten quilt which works fine. The option flatten quilt is applied to a simple plane through the frame to determine the desired translation. This translation can now be applied to the surface of the frame by the option flatten quilt deformation. Is this also possible is SolidWoks, is there also an option/method in SolidWorks to flatten the model for production?
