Hello. I have a curved part that is currently being cut out of 1.5" HDPE sheet material on a CNC router. My bosses would like to make this part from dimensional 2x2 (1.5"x1.5") HDPE lumber and bend it to the curved shape. They still want to cut the decorative ends of the piece on the CNC machine, then heat it up and bend it afterwards. How would I go about flattening this part so I can export the DXF into my CAM software?

Also, does anybody know how to calculate the spring back of HDPE plastic so I can take that into account when I draw the radii to make the bending jig?
