I created a 2 dwg with flat pattern view from a sheet metal model

I open the 3D model and suppressed the flat pattern and open 2d dwg again  - the view on the 2d dwg is not shown as a flat pattern any more even though the flat pattern is still checked in the feature manager - see att. image

it never happed like this before with older releases

What am I doing wrong here?
