I want to simulate flange displacement from a pressure internally that is connected by spring connectors on the front face to shoulder screws/shims which are involved in cyclic symmetry and are fixed to another flange. I have a split line on the back of the flange for internal pressure and another split line on the front that encompasses the bolt hole to indicate spring face connection. I have various spring data, and want to test whether or not certain pressures can act against the force of the spring to open up. Is this a feasible simulation without nonlinear simulation and also with the spring connectors? Thanks.
