Hi,

I'm trying to model a rectangular shell for plastic moulding. The faces on the two ends should have the same dimensions (1.5"). I wonder if it's reasonable to have the parting line across the middle. If so, is it possible to force material to be added around the parting line rather than trimming material off the ends?

If I have the direction of pull set to the end face as below, the resulting height of the end face becomes 1.42".

Any help will be appreciated.
