Hello everyone; To find the geometric centre of a part like the one in the figure (not the centre of gravity), I draw a rectangle around it and define geometric relations around it (e.g. tangent, colineer) to create a fully defined sketch, which I then approve. The centre of the sketch becomes the geometric centre of the part. However, is there a way to quickly find the geometric centre without performing the above steps? Is there such a command in SolidWorks? For example, in other CAD programmes, you select the geometric shape within a box and create a box. The programme automatically places points at the centre and corners of the box. You can then use these points as references for your drawing. Is there such a feature in SolidWorks? Thank you.
