filleting a multibody part

I am modeling a wheel rim whcih is made up of multiple layers of different color wood, each layer is .142 thick.

I need to radius the outside edges to .50", but I cannot make it work as there is more than one body. Is there away to do this how

I am approaching it or is there a way to vreate one body, fillet it and then break it into multiple layers?
