The filetype icons which differentiated parts, assemblies and drawings seem to have been merged into a single icon on my new Windows 8 machine. The files are now all listed with the 'type' property set as 'SldWorks Application' when in Win 7 they used to be 'SolidWorks Part Document' or ...Assembly or ...Drawing.

I have 2013 SP0 running on a clean install of Win8.

I have a horrible feeling that the single icon for different filetypes associated with the same program may be a Windows 8 'enhancement feature' to make Win8 more resource-efficient (and as a byproduct me less efficient!)

Anyone know how to fix this?
