I opened a part in PDM and did a pack and go without checking out the file to a seperate location outisde of the database. 

The file is now in a new folder and when I open it there is no problem. I try to make a change and save the part and the save button clicks but will not actually save it. Nothing happens. I have tried doing a save as and tried saving as an older file version and none of that allows it to save. When I hover over the save button it says "older version". I need to save the file but nothing seems to work.
