Our situation is;

We have 6 Solidworks Users.

All the SW files are stored on my local hard disk drive.

We all use these files.

We don't have PDM (as it's too expensive for what it does)

What is the ideal setup for File storage with our user size ?

Is it a stand alone NAS ?

Is it to store the files on a server (tried this in the past and it makes things really sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

Any help would be appreciated and a prize will be given to the person with the best answer
