I am relatively new at using solidworks and I am having an issue with FeatureWorks and its feature recognition. I have to import and modify solid edge files in SolidWorks. Normally I would just use feature recognition and it wouldnt be an issue but the parts are weldments and everytime I try and use the feature recognition it doesnt work. Is there a way to do this or should I use a conversion program to get the features from the solid edge file?
