Hi all,

I am trying to run an FEA analysis on an injection moulded part. In order to hopefully reach the required strength it has 4 steel strips moulded into plastic beams.

What connection type should I use for this?

The strips are seperate solid bodies and extruded through the beams, no space or hole in the beam.

I have tried creating a slightly larger holes 0.001mm all round so the strips would have a pocket to sit in and tried non touching - No penetration with no luck.

Any help would be great.
