Using Swx 2010 sp2.1 x32. If System Option -> External References ->Open referenced documents with read-only access (checked) and System Option ->Collaboration ->Enable multi-user environment (checked) ->Add shortcut menu items for multi-user enviroment (checked), Swx fails to save an internal part in an assembly.
When right-clicking the part in feature manager, the context menu doesn't display Get Write Access or Make read-only. Using right-click Open Part, the part opens in what appears to be a writeable state. File menu displays Make read-only, but when saving the file the message box "Failed to save document" appears. The file can't be saved.
If Open referenced documents with read-only access (unchecked), it works as it should.
This was not the case in 2009.
Has this issue been addressed in later sp's?
