I am stuck determining the missing link between flow simulation and factor of safety. 

All i know is the material, the fact it is fixed at the inlet and that the outlet is at environment pressure. I am given a specific factor of safety and told to determine what the volume flow rate is. I know its something to do with bridging into static analysis but i cant quite remember any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also told that the FOS is a function of the vonmisses stress.
