What I am trying to achieve is a surface that is rounded like the base surface but extruded out by .5 mm . The only way I know how to make sketches that are rounded like the base surface is by making a sketch and then offsetting it from the main surface. I usually only emboss them but now I need to extrude it. I have reduced it down to just an offset surface but can not figure out how to fill in the space between. I have tried to extrude the surface but it only expands it horizontally not towards the main body.

Looking for help either filling in between the main body and surface or a better way to extrude a portion of a rounded surface.
