Hi guys,

I am quite new to solidworks. I've got a lot of experience in 3dsmax but that's a complete different way of modeling.

I will explain my problem with an image:

Swept Cut will leave both ends open. Extruded cut will leave both ends closed. The top needs to be closed and the bottom needs to be open.

There is a Draft On/Off function but this will taper all sides inwards. I would like to chose which sides should go inwards.

Anybody knows a way to solve this?
