Hello, I'm trying to set up some template parts and assemblies. My plan is to have the templates set up in individual folders each with their own .txt file to quickly create/adjust parts.
The first assembly worked great, the txt file is simple and easy to adjust.
The second assembly is an entirely different design and was made from scratch and it also worked fine.
The next few assemblies were copied and modified versions of the second assembly, care was taken to ensure all the references are to the correct files. New .txt variable files were generated and after finishing the assembly they worked fine.
The issue I'm having is that these copied assemblies link the equation/variable text document. So if I open the second assembly again, it will no longer reference its own .txt file, but the newest one that was created.
Is it possible to break this link between the copies? Or do I have to start from scratch for every template I create? If I have to start from scratch, there is no use in trying to create templates!
