Im VERY curious to know if any Designer/Draftsman get tired of moving extension lines in there drawings, I spend atleast 6 to 7 hours of my 8 hour day in Drawings and Im going to be conservative here I spend 1/2 hr to 3/4 hr of that time adjusting the extension lines. I know Solidworks will GAP them in the view they were created but Im constanly moving dimensions back and forth from 1 view to another an so on. I submitted an SR to Solidworks and shortly after it opened they closed it, John MacArther my VAR has go them to reopen it but after a few days they close it agian. I also use PRO-E and there Drawing although sometimes difficulte to learn is better at most every drawing tool. The extension GAP is handled in printing even though the drawing shows no GAP or incorrect GAP when you print the drawing it is perfect everytime.
To me Solidworks is AWESOME at just about everything but when it comes to drawings they dont spend alot of time trying o make it the industry leader.
