I wanted to know if anyone has modeled an extension cord.  I an not interested in the connectors on the end of the extension cord but I am interested in the actual cord that is twisted, lays on itself, and is intertwined with itself and lays in a heaping ball on the floor.  I have created cords for things like cables and tubes before but when I am finished they always come out looking rigid in the model or assembly and don’t look real.  Each and every time, I create one of these types of objects, I find it very painful using the current solidworks tools.  Has anyone done anything like that in the past from which they might be able to share any tips, models, etc.  Thanks for your help.
