I am experiencing extra long open and save times with assemblies.  Even when I choose to open lightweight it's taking a couple minutes to open an assembly with only 100 or so parts in it.

I am connected to the LAN through a 100 mbps switch which I'm told should be lightning fast?

Using 2010 sp 3.1 x64 with 12 gig RAM.

Can anyone offer any help or advise?
