Hi,

I'm trying to write a VBA macro in SolidWorks to automate my DWG export.

My goal: Scan drawing views, find the material assigned to each parts inside an assembly, create matching layers in the drawing (BRASS, STAINLESS STEEL, etc), and ensure that when exported to DWG, all 2D geometry lines end up on their respective material layer in AutoCAD instead of Layer 0.

Do you think it's possible?
