Good morning.

How can i send an assembly step file or similar format , to a customer, that has an aesthetics function only.

I mean we are working on an assembly design, and we are spending hours and hours ,i must send this assembly to a my customer, because he need to check if all the components fits well in the final assembly.

I want to protect my know how, i mean the tickness, the size hole exc..., my question is how can i send that file to my customer so that it can use it in the assembly, but it can not look inside the component?

I will be cool that he can look outside, but if he is trying to do a section, inside there is nothing.

Or normaly what do you do, if you have to send 3D models, to potential new customes, and you really don't know what their intentions are.
