Hi,

I have a model in Sketchup which I would like to bring across into Solidworks.

The best way I found is to export to IFC from Sketchup however it only exports in mesh, not solid bodies.

When I bring the IFC file into solidworks, it is only in graphic facets (mesh), which is very hard to use (unable to select faces, edge, sketch unless I convert each body/part which is too much...)

What is the best option? (export without mesh from sketchup or convert solidworks model into solid body)

I tried FreeCAD and it doesnt do the job.
