Exploded View with Radially Patterned Instances

I'm creating an exploded view of an assembly.  In this assembly, I've placed a set screw in the wall of a cylinder; the set screw is pointing radially inward, towards the axis of the cylinder.  I then used a circular pattern to create instances of this set screw around the cylinder.  When creating my exploded view, is there a simple way to offset all the set screws (parent and patterned children)?  Or do I need to do them one at a time?

Here's the next problem...I couldn't find a way to do them all at once, so I started doing them one at a time.  The first (parent) component was no problem.  However, the patterned components won't allow me to offset in the direction of its axis.  the patterned components seem to want to be offset based on the same coordinate system as the parent component (i.e. in the direction of the parent axis, not its axis).  Anyone know how I can get around this?  Do I just need to manually assembly all the set screws instead of patterning them?
