SOLIDWORKS Bill Of Materials I am trying to exclude a part from my bill of materials using the properties menu (r-click on component in feature tree, select properties). I have "update component names when a document is replaced" checked, because I want to see the name of the component I have in my assembly, not the name of the component I replaced three revisions ago. When I check "exclude from Bill of Materials" and hit ok, I get an error (see screenshot). Is there any workaround? Do I have to edit my system options every time I want to exclude a toolbox fastener or other part from the BOM? (Using SW 2023 SP5.0)
