Greetings!

Does anyone know why the Excel based BOM does not update when I create another column? 

For example, Im trying to create the column "Other" as shown, but nothing changes in the drawing view:

Note that I have checked the option "Automatic update of BOM" in the SolidWorks configuration.

I will appreciate any information in this regard.

EDIT:

At home I have an educational version that opens the Excel file inside SolidWorks and everything seems to work. However, SolidWorks in the company I work for opens it in another window. I assume the problem may be related to this fact.
