I recently updated one of my company PCs to Windows 11. I’m using SolidWorks 2020 with Excel 2019 (Office 365). Currently, when I double-click an Excel-based BOM in SolidWorks, it opens in a new Excel window. I can edit the BOM (e.g., run macros and add data), but after closing Excel, the changes are not reflected in the SolidWorks BOM.
When I log in as an administrator, everything works correctly. However, with my user account, the issue occurs. On a Windows 10 PC, both administrator and user accounts work without any problems.
If you have a solution, please let me know.
In window10 pc, when I double click BOM, it opens like this (With hatching boundary). And this is fine.
In window11 pc (my user), when I double click BOM, it opens like this (Excel in new window). And this is problem.
