SW2010 SP3.0 X64

I know this is a simple question, just can't find the switch.  I have one user that does not get errors and warnings in an assembly, can anyone let me know how to correct this?  i have tried a few things, large assembly mode turned off, selected and deselected various options under "Whats wrong" etc, so what am I not doing?
