I'm running SW2010 Standard x64 SP2.1 on Windows 7 64-bit. I haven't used equations much before, but now want to, and they won't work. Everything I enter comes up with a red exclamation mark and won't solve. I even tried a new part with a simple rectangular sketch, gave one side a dimension of 20mm, and on the other side added an equation,
"D2@Sketch1" = "D1@Sketch1" * 2
That wouldn't solve, so I tried adding another equation that simply said,
"length"= 20
That wouldn't solve either.
I did a search and found a post advising someone to enter msgbox("Hello!") in a dimension to check if VBA was working. I tried this, it gave me a message box saying "Hello", then went completely unresponsive and I had to close all the SW processes manually with the Task Manager. TM shows swvbaserver.exe is running when SW is running, but it is only a 32 bit process. Is this a VBA problem? What can I do about it?
