I am trying to define some very basic global variables to use in my assembly as values for distance and angle mates, as well as two that are referenced by 2 of the parts of the assembly, however no matter what I do SW says "The Syntax of this equation is incorrect", as shown here.

This is identical behavior to the issue in earlier versions, so I have tried the KB workaround here​ as well as clean reinstalling SW to no avail as well.

I have the same version of SW on the same version of Windows running on my laptop, which works fine; I create equations/global variables on my laptop, which then don't work on my desktop.

Any idea what could be going on?
