I recently upgraded to Win7-64bit and SW2010, now assemblies that worked in 2009 are failing to process equations correctly.
Equation editor works in single line mode, but in "Edit All" it returns "Read-Only Dimensions can not be changed by Equations" and turns the first equation red. If I comment that one out, then exit, again the "Read-Only..." message and next equation turns red; etc...
I applaud the improvement of highlighting the offending equation, but not for an incorrect reason. I look forward to the day when not only is incorrect equation highlighted, but spelling or other syntax errors are highlighted.
I double-checked and the same individual equations evaluate and edit properly in single line mode.
Modifying equations in "Edit All" mode is so powerfull, I use it all the time since SW-2000. Solidworks broke equations in a different way in 2009, and now this way in 2010. Do other users find this as infuriating as I find it? Any fixes or work-arounds?
thank you
