Equation in a note or similar

Hi everyone,

I am working on a drawing template and I have some notes that are linked to the properties of the drawing, in my case it is the weight of a part that I need to lift with a crane. Let's say I have a hook and steel cables that both have specified weight. Is there a way I can have a note in my drawing that would calculate the sum of all the listed weight?

Here is what I have tried so far:

  1. insert a table in the drawing itself and save the template with the table: it is possible to use equation in the inserted table so I was able to make it work that way, but I would like my table to be in the sheet format so I can link my notes to a propertie and when I double click in the drawing I can just enter the information I want and it will update the linked property and solidworks does not allow to insert a table in the sheet format.
  2. I was able to create my table with lines and notes that I fixed in the drawing so that it would not accidently get modified. I linked all the weigh to a property. So if I keep the same example, I have a property "hook" with a text value of let's say 50 and an other property "steel cable" with a text value of 100. So now I would like to get the total of the weight and insert it in a note that I can add at the end of my table. There is no equation tab under tool when I am in a drawing so I can't create an equation to link with a property. I tried to create a sum inside the note without success...

Is it even possible to include an equation in a note while working with a drawing file?

I included the file I am working on (it is in french though) and you can see if you double click on the table, I linked all the notes to a property except the last two which are Total and % capacity used. So I want the total

Thank You,

Kevin
