The EPDM message system has been working for the last 6 months with very few issues then about three days ago it just stopped.
We use Gmail as our email provider and have used the following settings with no problem.
When I run the message test I get this result.
Solidworks does not provide indepth information on what to look for on the server that would affect EPDM's ability to connect to the server.
I have been Sin the QL Server Management Studio setting up some maintenance schedules and looking at other options that would speed up access to the server. Could I have inadvertantly changed something that would affect the message system. I did change the default database under management for all users to the company vault from the master database, would that affect the message system? I did change it back but it did not fix the issue. Does anybody have any insight about what to look for on the server side that is preventing the message system from finding the server? The VAR has not been very helpful and I may end up calling SolidWorks directly if this even stumps all the forum experts. I thank everyone for taking the time to respond. The people here have been very helpful in the past.
