So I am trying to use the EPDM 2013 parallel transition and have realized that the actions apply to the whole transition rather than each role.

This is a problem when I am setting 3 different variables using the “fullname” value of the current user.

I assume that all the actions run only after all the roles have passed thru the transition.

Example:

I have 3 departments to approve a document.

When each department approves we set that department variable to “fullname” value of the current user.

Conclusion:

So with a parallel transition all three department variables will all be set with the same current user “fullname” value!
