[Enhancement] Circular Center Mark: Generate from a Defined Center Point + One or More Holes

Idea Description:

The current "Circular Center Mark" tool is excellent for automatically creating bolt-hole circles, but it has a significant limitation: it requires a minimum of three selected holes to calculate a best-fit circle.

This creates a common and frustrating problem for detailers: How do you create an accurate circular centerline for two satellite holes?

  • The Problem: Two points define infinitely many circles. The software rightly refuses to guess which one is correct.

  • The Current Workaround: Users must manually sketch a circle, snap it to a found or constructed center point, and then change its line type. This is a tedious, non-associative process that breaks the efficient workflow SolidWorks is known for.

Proposed Solution: A new workflow for the Circular Center Mark tool.

I propose adding an option to generate the circular centerline by first defining the center point,

then selecting the satellite holes.

New Workflow Steps:

  1. Activate the "Circular Center Mark" tool.

  2. Select a new option in the PropertyManager: "Define Center Point".

  3. Step 1: Select the center point. This could be:

    • The center of an existing central feature (a "定位孔" or定位 pin).

    • The intersection of construction geometry (e.g., two centerlines).

    • A model vertex or a sketch point that represents the design intent.

  4. Step 2: Select one or more satellite holes.

    • The software then creates a perfect circular centerline with the specified center point, passing through the center of the selected hole(s).

Benefits and Advantages:

  • Solves the 2-Hole Problem: Perfectly creates a circular centerline for two satellite holes, a very common detailing scenario.

  • Enables 1-Hole Callout: Allows creating a full circular centerline for a single hole based on a theoretical true position from a datum. This is invaluable for GD&T callouts and defining maximum material boundaries.

  • Clarity and Precision: The user explicitly defines the design intent (the datum center). The result is 100% accurate, not a statistical best-fit.

  • Associative and Smart: The generated centerline remains associative to the chosen center point and holes. If the model moves, the centerline updates correctly.

  • Streamlines Workflow: Eliminates the need for manual sketch and line-type changes, saving significant time and reducing errors.
