I am looking for a reference book or any resources that go into detail specifically on engineering documentation.

Larger companies have standardized documents and procedures for engineering documentation, however my work does not.  I would like to establish a solid documentation system (Part numbering, BOM template, product specs, test specs, drawings, process specs, assembly drawings, inspection specs, manufacturing illustrations, illustrated parts catalogue, product description manual, installation instructions).

I have Watts' 'Engineering documentation control handbook',  but I am looking for further references or examples.
