I feel like I'm playing whack a mole with my external design tables because every time I open Solidworks, it resets my design tables to 'Enable drop down lists (may be slower)'. Can I globablly override this setting?

This is REALLY frustrating, because I have one rather large design table that consistently gets screwed up if I allow Solidworks to save using this setting. The kicker is that this design table is used in 99% of my assemblies. It drives EVERYTHING.

FWIW, the screwup makes everything drop downs, it overwrites some text fields (EX, the string '0033 becomes integer 33), and it inserts over 700 columns between my M and N cell.

I dreaded upgrading from 2012 to 2013 based on losing literally everything in the 2011 to 2012 transition because Solidworks torpedoed a relationship I was depending on. I was hoping by now they'd have the bugs worked out with 2013, but here I go again.
