I have been opening this discussion since 2005 and I will continue to do so until we have it or I have no access to SW - which ever first occur.

Turbo-machinery is one of the major Industry among all. It is with constantly growing demand since the first turbo-machinery pump was made some 1XX years ago, and rapidly growing demand in the last 10 years.Those are: pumps, compressors. turbines, fans, blowers.

Any pipe leads to pump, any engine has a pump and turbine/compressor associated to it. Any other major CAE  has turbo-machinery CAD (at some extend) embedded.

However,  we still cannot do CAD design of turbo-machinery by Solid Works.

By using third parties CAD for turbo-machinery design we can not benefit of the Optimization Tools of Solid Works, it adds a lot on our budget and time for importing the geometry into SW for analysis.
