Is there a way to dimension an ellipse such that you specify the X or Y value and the circumference? I have a part that is an oval tube made from 3" dia round. It is formed into an oval section tube by a die so that the conjugate (minor) diameter is 2". Since I know the X value and the circumference (since it hasn't changed) is there a way to sketch an ellipse with these 2 values without having to calculate the Y dimension?
