Need a little help.
Trying to figure a way to work around the problem illustrated inthe attached jpg. This is a gold contact with tin coated bottomnext to a solder pad mounted to a PCB board. I am trying to figureout a way to limit the reflection from the board onto the silverand gold. you can see it has a negative affect on the composition.
Any thoughts on this? I am using a modified version of the goldprovided with SW...essentially making it appear more rich. I amusing a 'rough' version of tin thinking the 'distress' in the metalwould help minimize the effect...no dice.
I am lighting the scene with Mike Wilson's "the Bridge" hdri. Havespent time on the lighting, the textures and the materialproperties but unable to really eliminate the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,SolidworksPhotoworks
