Education Advice

Hey Guys

Im finishing up some schooling (Welding Certificate 1 year program), and I'm taking an intro class in Solidworks right now. I really enjoy it and I'm thinking about getting an Associates in Mechanical Design (emphisis in solidworks compared to other 3D CAD). What does the it look like job wise for someone with an associates in this type of degree. Is it something that you really need a BA. I dont plan on going for 4/5 years for a BA. Pretty much just seeing if its going to be worth investing in more schooling or is it hard to find a solidworks job with an associates. Thanks for the input.
