I am having trouble getting eDrawings to allow me to measure a .DXF file, I haven’t had this problem with previous versions.

I am saving the file as .DXF from the drawing file but the measure feature isn’t available in eDrawings, am I doing something simple that is stopping it from working?

I can save it as the eDrawings format (.edrw) and tick the "Okay to measure this eDrawings file" which allows me to measure but I don’t want to have to save the file twice just to measure.

Anyone have any ideas?
