I am testing SW2013 (and related products) for our company to move to it in the very near future, from SW2010 (current version). We will also be upgrading everyone's eDrawings to 2013 as our corporate std. for purchasing, manufacturing, quality, etc. to use to view our drawings. I have just run into a couple problems with eDrawings 2013 SP2.0.
When I open a SW Drawing of a Part in eDrawings, all views appear correct. However, I do get the error that views may be out of date, when in fact they're not.
When I open a SW Drawing of an Assembly in eDrawings, along with the "views out of date message", all of the Assembly views show with phantom edges. This obviously makes it impossible to accurately read.
- When open in Native SolidWorks, all views look fine, all edges look just as they should.
- Part and Assembly drawings were created using the exact same template.
- I have confirmed that all referenced parts in the Assembly, as well as the Assembly itself, were converted to SW2013.
- It doesn't matter if you mix Part views and Assembly views on the same drawing. The Assembly views always have phantom edges (see attached picture)
Does anybody know what's going on here?
Edit: For some reason the image I uploaded was junk. I've updated the image. Anyone?
